Banana Bread

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat over to 350°F
  2. In a bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together butter and sugar until light
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, and the milk, beating until smooth after each addition
  5. Add half of the flour mixture and beat smooth, then half of the mashed bananas. Again, beat smooth
  6. Repeat with the remaining halves of each (flour mixture, then bananas)
  7. Lightly grease a bread pan and pour in batter
  8. Bake for 1 hour, or until inserted toothpick comes out clean
  9. Let bread sit in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and place on a cooling rack until cool
